The Candidate Recruitment Committee recruits and advises potential candidates ready, willing and able to give their time and energy to public service. We offer workshops for our candidates, campaign strategists, and volunteers in Pensacola. We are searching for committed Democratic leaders of integrity, ability, and vision.

Write Letters to the Editor for publication or contact your elected officials to express your views. Speak up at your City Council and County Commission meetings. 

Viewpoints and Letters to the Editor

Letters to the Editor in newspapers reach a wide audience. Your words can influence public opinion and policy makers. Write about what matters to you and give a personal angle. Current issues that need to be addressed include women's rights, immigration reform, climate change, gun violence prevention, health care, and education. Remember to follow guidelines on length, keep a positive tone, and stay on point.
