How to Vote

Exercise Your Right to Vote

Voting is a right of all Americans and the way we, as a democracy, determine the direction of our country. As voters, it is our responsibility to be prepared to vote and to educate ourselves on the issues and candidates. The Escambia Democratic Party can provide information on candidates and issues, give rides to the polls, and help you obtain your vote-by-mail ballot. Please contact us if we can help you with any part of the process.

"So long as I do not firmly and irrevocably possess the right to vote I do not possess myself. I cannot make up my mind — it is made up for me. I cannot live as a democratic citizen, observing the laws I have helped to enact — I can only submit to the edict of others."

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
